Dec 202016

Our 2nd XV recently travelled to the Kingdom and had a very convincing win against Division 3 league leaders Killorglin. The 2nds faced another Kerry side in the form of Castleisland RFC on Sunday, 18th December at home in Towns Park and once again emerged victorious. A penalty from Jamie Clohessy and a Michael Cronin try in the final minutes earned Midleton an 18-11 home win over Castleisland. A try from Ryan Hogan and a conversion and penalty by Clohessy gave Midleton a 10-5 half time lead. The final score was Midleton RFC 20 – 11 Castleisland RFC.

The boys now go through to the fourth round of the competition where they’ll be taking on Sunday’s Well. The match will be an away fixture and will take place on January 29th, 2017.
